Twilight - Gavin and Andrew Patterson

 [email protected]

Mon, 26 November to Mon, 24 December

As children, the Patterson brothers were tutored by Vida Leahy at the Queensland Art Gallery.  and although they continued to draw and apint throughout their lives, they did not pursue art as a career, instead choosing architecture and engineering.

Gavin's work in the exhibition is a series of watercolour and pencil sketches of his childhood holiday house in Hervey Bay, The Gables.  The sketches illustrate a self-published book on the history of the house.

Andrew started drawing pastel portraits a few years ago and lately has turned to lanscapes.
