Portraiture workshop with Shanay Manitzky - Adult
To celebrate the opening of Gatakers Creative Space, Shanay will present a guided step by step adult workshop to draw a portrait of a woman.
Students will:
- Learn the universal way of dividing the face into three parts
- Learn how to draw eyes, nose, mouth, and hair using demonstrated techniques
- Learn a range of shading techniques to render their portrait
- Discuss compositional elements to suggest a narrative
Outcome:
- Create an A4 portrait of a woman
- Understand the fundamentals of portraiture to create another portrait
All materials supplied.
