Johnathan Thurston’s success has been based on implementing the values of confidence, courage, and self-belief in his everyday life.

The Johnathan Thurston Academy is offering a free 4-day JTYouGotThis program for our future female youth leaders in the Fraser Coast aged between 16- 20.

All activities are flexible, experiential and interactive, encouraging you to uncover what YOU uniquely bring to the world. If your interested in meeting likeminded individuals, creating community, being part of a group setting, improving your confidence, courage, and self-belief this program is for you.

This workshop runs across four days, Tues 9th - Fri 12th April.

Tuesday 9 April | Day One: Welcome/Johnathan Thurston Academy.  (9am - 10am)

Wednesday 10 April | Day Two: Confidence (9am - 10am)

Thursday 11 April | Day Three: Courage (9am - 10am)

Friday 12 April | Day Four: Self-Belief (9am - 10am)

JT Academy aims to develop an integrated community where the young population from all walks of life, particularly the First Nations community, to have the platform, tools, and resources to achieve personal growth and triumph without fear or doubt.

Following the leadership of Johnathan Thurston, our equipped facilitators aim to increase the confidence, courage, and self-belief of the youth so young take responsibility to improve of their own self-development .

We are fast becoming a leading national provider of outstanding initiatives and community programs aimed at employment, education, and well-being.

Chloe Lhotka, Program Development and Facilitator at the Johnathan Thurston Academy.

Born and raised on Gubbi Gubbi country. Chloe's background in Criminology and Justice studies and recent completion of a Masters of Social Work (Qualifying) at the University of the Sunshine Coast. Her previous experience in residential youth work, youth justice, social innovation, and community development of case managing youth who were homeless or at risk of homelessness, demonstrated complex mental health needs and were involved or at risk of entering the criminal justice system lead to finding her passion in developing and facilitating programs on Butchulla country (Fraser Coast region).
