Maryborough Regional Arts Council is pleased to present the 2025 Concertos Festival celebrating the individual talents of gifted instrumentalists from Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University.

The performance will be a selection of concerto movements with over 60 musicians on stage from the Conservatorium Symphony Orchestra, and conducted by Peter Luff.  Instruments that will be featured include Piano, Flute, Violin, Viola, Cello and the Contrabass Cello.

  • Bowen: Concerto in c minor for Viola and Orchestra OP.25

Olivia Spyrou, viola

  • Moszkowski: Piano Concerto in E major, Op 59

Phuong Do, piano

  • Verhey: Flute Concerto No.1, Op.45

Amy Tashjian, flute

 

This is the final concert for 2025 brought to you by the Maryborough Regional Arts Council Inc, the Brolga Theatre and the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University.
