Hervey Bay Regional Gallery Closure

The Fraser Coast Cultural Centre will be closed until further notice while the building’s air conditioning system is repaired.

Expressions of Interest For Director and Production Proposals - Brolga Theatre 2020 Community Musical

Fraser Coast Regional Council is seeking EOIs for Community Directors and Community Musical Production Proposals to be presented by the Brolga Theatre during the 20th anniversary 2020 Season program.

Artist Profile: Wilhelmus Breikers

Born in Holland, Wilhelmus (Henry) Breikers came to Queensland in 1957 with his parents. After a career as an art teacher at secondary and tertiary levels until 2014, he has continued to develop his art practice in Hervey Bay.

Band Profile: Slainte

Sláinte’s vibrant performances of toe-tapping music takes audiences back to the heart of Ireland’s culture and history, compelling audiences to dance a jig, clap their hands or sing along. 

Artist Profile: James Hall

“Looking into the Blue” is a continuation of works by local artist, James Hall that explores and celebrates the Fraser Coast region, Fraser Island and surrounding coastlines. This follows on from James’ previous exhibitions “Blue Vista” 2012-2013 Gatakers ArtSpace, Maryborough and “A Touch of Blue” 2009 The Palace Regional Gallery, Childers.
