Friends of the Library

The Friends of the Library is a group of dedicated volunteers who value their library service and enjoy helping their community.

Being a member of Friends of the Library means you will meet other like-minded book lovers, be kept up to date with what is happening in the libraries and be involved in library events and activities.

Friends of the Library may assist with:

  • Activities and events
  • Home Library Service selection and delivery
  • Family history enquiries
  • Preparing craft and information packs
  • Seed library identification, preparation and packing
  • Shelving and shelf tidy
  • Toy cleaning

Please note that volunteering for Council is not recognised as a Mutual Obligation Requirement for Australian Government payments.
