Seed Library

From Plant to Plate

Our seed library provides a place where library members can VISIT, collect and exchange seeds.
We aim to promote sustainable gardening practices by supporting the local community to PLANT and TEND seeds to grow their own food and plants.
Once plants are grown, ripened, and matured, seeds can be GATHERED and returned to the library to SHARE with others.

Grow It Local

Keen for more? Council has partnered with Grow It Local to support residents to grow food at home, compost organic waste and live more sustainably. Fraser Coast residents have free access to local events, online webinars, practical education and free limited seed deliveries twice a year in Autumn and Spring.
