Back by popular demand and to celebrate the closing weekend of Weeds to Paper, artist Zela Bissett is running an interactive workshop where you can learn how to make your own unique sheets of paper using environmentally friendly materials and low-tech equipment.

Discover the use of paper-making equipment and achieve results with a variety of natural colour, texture and decorative techniques. This workshop will cover identifying, collecting and preparing fibres, making the pulp and forming sheets of paper with botanical fragments.  You will take home several sheets of your own handmade paper and the valuable knowledge to continue this skill.

What to bring: A small A4 cutting board, clipboard or stiff carboard sheet for transporting your paper home.
What to wear: It is messy business so wear old clothes & shoes. The workshop will be outdoors so please wear a hat and practice sun safety.
