Join us for a special event marking 125 years since Banjo Paterson visited Maryborough. Three-time Australian champion bush poet Gregory North presents Banjo’s remarkable life and his most beloved poems on the very date Banjo stood in City Hall in 1901.

This expanded version of Greg’s long-running Winton show - complete with visuals, stories and poetry - is a must for every Banjo Paterson fan. As well as being Australia’s most famous poet, Banjo served as a Boer War correspondent and toured Australia and New Zealand from 1900 – 1901, speaking in 56 towns, including Maryborough.

This performance is presented by the Rotary Club of Maryborough - Sunrise with support from the Brolga Theatre.
