These Hands photographic exhibition by local photographer Rowena Allen - a powerful series of black-and-white portraits focused on the hands of people living with dementia, accompanied by storyboards that celebrate each person’s life and achievements.
 
These Hands invites us to look beyond a diagnosis. It’s a reminder that identity, connection and contribution remain at the heart of who we are.
 
Photos will be on display in the Brolga Theatre foyer now until the Dementia Mini Expo on Monday 13 July which will showcase services and resources for those of us living with dementia and their carers/families.
 
Dementia can feel overwhelming, but no one has to walk that path alone.
 
The mini expo will offer practical, hands-on information, guest speakers and a performance by the Dementia Friendly Singing Groups.
