Presented by Maryborough Regional Arts Council (MRAC)

39 classically trained singers and 22 musicians in the orchestra from Queensland Conservatorium, Griffith University bring to the Fraser Coast two operatic favourites.  Mozart's Marriage of Figaro, the much loved tale of 17th Century marital misadventures against a background of political unrest, and Offenbach's Tales of Hoffman, the magical tale of the poet Hoffman recounting the tales of his failed romances.

Be uplifted by the immersive experience of opera and orchestra live at this scale - normally only experienced at concert halls in the big cities.  Don't miss this unique opportunity brought to you by your community Arts organisation.

Ticket prices are heavily subsidised (pay just one third the price of a commercially funded performance) thanks to our Music Fund Sponsors and Patrons plus the partnership between MRAC, the Brolga Theatre and Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University.
