Remnants Reimagined - Assemblage Workshop at Maryborough

Fuse your fabulous finds using various assemblage techniques to create works of art destined for the gallery wall, or the pool room!

Guided by Regional Spotlight artist Larissa Dabrowski, enjoy and afternoon of creativity and inspiration at the gallery as you learn the skills to create a unique piece of art.

Bring along your own fossicked treasures and incorporate them with bits and pieces from the gallery stash, assemble them to create interesting composition.

Design with freedom, creating beautiful, free-formed sculptural statuettes, 3D arty assemblages, abstract animals, wonderful wall hangings, whatever direction your heart-strings and your found-things pull you in, let your imagination run wild with your assortment of gathered goodies.

Leading up to the annual Waste to Art exhibition, you will have the chance to create a piece of art worthy of entering the competition and wowing the audience!

Artists are supported by the Regional Arts Development Fund, a partnership between the Queensland Government and Fraser Coast Regional Council to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland.

Workshop Cancellation Policy:
Gatakers Artspace cannot accept responsibility for any changes in personal circumstances.
Missed workshops or change of mind are at your own expense.
If a participant chooses to cancel their confirmed registration, or cannot or does not attend the workshop, the following will apply: The registered participant may invite another person to substitute their place in the workshop (in which they are registered) at any time at no charge; If notice is received 2 or less days from the scheduled starting date, a refund will not be offered.
If a workshop is cancelled by Gatakers Artspace a full refund or a reschedule will be provided.
Gatakers Artspace will endeavour to advise participants of cancellation at least 48 hours prior to workshop.
