Poetry Slam Workshop with Huda the Goddess - Maryborough

Next date: Saturday, 14 November 2026 | 03:00 PM to 05:00 PM

Discover the art of spoken word poetry with Huda the Goddess in this interactive workshop.

This is not your average writing workshop. Designed to be engaging, supportive and fun, the session encourages participants to experiment with language, build confidence and discover new ways to express themselves through writing and performance. By the end of the workshop, participants will have created an original piece of poetry and gained practical skills to help them share their work with an audience.

Led by an award-winning poet, educator and performer, this workshop celebrates creativity, storytelling and the power of finding your own voice.

Suitable for teens and adults, aspiring writers, performers, poets, students and anyone looking to build confidence, develop their creative skills and explore spoken word poetry.
