Are you an avid wildlife enthusiast or interested in our natural environment? Fraser Coast Libraries hosts regular wildlife talks in partnership with the Fraser Coast Branch of the Wildlife Preservation Society of Queensland. Attendees can expect to hear from knowledgeable speakers about local wildlife, conservation efforts and how to get involved.

27 March: From Creek to Coast: How Council Protects Water Quality on the Fraser Coast

Join Fraser Coast Regional Council to learn how Council works to protect our waterways, from drinking water catchments and local creeks to the ocean and the Great Barrier Reef. This talk will explore how Council manages water across the region, including recycling wastewater, restoring oyster reefs, improving stormwater quality, and planning for long‑term water security.
