Print Studio

Gatakers Artspace Print Studio is a non‑toxic studio open every Wednesday and Saturday, 10am–2pm, with experienced volunteer printmakers onsite.

Studio Equipment: 

• 2 Intaglio Presses (Etching Presses)
• 1 large Albion Relief Press.
• A large inking bench.
• Rollers
• 2 clean drawing tables.
• 2 outdoor tables for etching solution, sugar lift and hard and soft ground application as well as solution containers.
• Tools for preparing plate edges.
• Bench hooks for cutting relief prints.
• Lino cutting tools.
• A variety of useful small brushes and tools for use.

First Visit:
Your first visit is an opportunity to observe, chat with our volunteer printmakers, and get a feel for the studio and ask questions.

Ongoing Visits:

Once you have completed your studio induction, you may return to use the printmaking equipment under supervision.

Covered shoes are required under WHS guidelines.
