Join artist Kate Websdale to learn the step‑by‑step process of creating a reduction lino print and discover how this technique can be incorporated into mixed‑media artwork.

What to expect:

Create a 2-3 colour reduction print
Understand some of the variables related to paper and inks
Discuss how lino printed material has been incorporated into artwork
Akua inks will be used to facilitate quick drying

Date: Saturday, 28 March 2026
Time: 10am to 2pm (doors open 9.30am)
Cost: $85.00 per person; registration required
Level: intermediate with some experience required in lino cut technique

Paper, inks, lino and lino cutting tools supplied.

What to bring:

Sketchbook
Small simple drawings with 2-3 colours incorporated.
Lino cutting tools (if you have your own)

Workshop Cancellation Policy

Gatakers Artspace cannot accept responsibility for any changes in personal circumstances. Missed workshops or change of mind are at your own expense.
If a participant chooses to cancel their confirmed registration, or cannot or does not attend the workshop, the following will apply:
The registered participant may invite another person to substitute their place in the workshop (in which they are registered) at any time at no charge;
If notice is received 2 or less days from the scheduled starting date, a refund will not be offered.
If a workshop is cancelled by Gatakers Artspace a full refund or a reschedule will be provided. Gatakers Artspace will endeavour to advise participants of cancellation at least 48 hours prior to workshop.
