Youth Week: Free Screenprinting with Polygone Cowboy

To celebrate Youth Week 2026, join Brisbane based screenprinter Sam, from Polygone Cowboy for a four (4) hour workshop where participants will be guided through the complete process of silkscreen printing.

Cost: Free; registration required. (Limited to 15 people)

Suitable for youth: 12-25 years

What to expect

Use Posca Pens, liquid drawing ink, and brushes to create an original artwork.
Prepare a unique design to be exposed onto a silkscreen.
Learn how to create a stencil for screenprinting.
Practice printing on paper to develop confidence and technique.
Print final design onto a T‑shirt.
Have garment heat‑set, making it ready to wear at the end of the workshop.

What's provided

All screen‑printing materials (screens, squeegees, inks, emulsions and paper).

What to bring

Light coloured Cotton T-Shirt (for printing final design)
Make sure you come in comfortable clothing and covered shoes are a must
Lunch
Water bottle
