Interested in being part of our Recycled Tabletop Christmas Trees?
 
We would like to invite Fraser Coast artists and creatives to submit an application for our upcoming showcase of Recycled Tabletop Christmas Trees at Gatakers Artspace. This showcase will be on display from 14 November, 2026 to 2 January, 2027 in the Studio building.
 
Celebrating imagination and sustainability, all original creations should be made from recycled, repurposed, reclaimed or found materials. This festive season, transform everyday objects into imaginative tabletop centrepieces alongside like-minded makers.  Unlike the classic Christmas tree, sculptures should be ‘tabletop’ size, their dimensions not exceeding 60 x 60 x 60cm.

Successful applicants will be notified by 30 October 2026 following a selection process. Please note that artists may continue to develop an refine artworks after receiving notification of a successful application.

APPLICATION FORM

Criteria:

  • Sculptures should be created primarily from recycled, repurposed, reclaimed or found materials (avoid new materials where possible)
  • Must not exceed 60 x 60 x 60cm
  • Can be wall-hung or freestanding
  • Sculptures should be stable and secure (loose components should be specified on the application)
