About the Author:
Sergeant David Raymond commenced with the Queensland Police Service on 29 May 1989. He served his whole career in Far North Queensland including service as a General Duties Officer in Smithfield and Cairns Police Station. He is renowned for his exemplary leadership and operational capability in the most demanding of circumstances. During his operational career Sergeant Raymond has been the recipient of a number of awards including the Bravery Medal and Commendation for Brave Conduct.
