Reminder: The Hervey Bay Library has now closed at its Old Maryborough Road location as we prepare to move into our new home at the Community Hub on Main Street from 31st August.
Judy, writing as J Mary Masters, is passionate about writing stories for mature readers. Her books, heavily influenced by her childhood being brought up on a cattle property near Rockhampton, are especially sought after by regional and rural readers.
She is a passionate advocate for Australian writers and storytelling, as well as a vocal advocate for the public library network in Australia.
In November 2025, Judy released her seventh book, and fifth in the Belleville Family series, Winds of Change.
